Atari High is a school for Artistically Gifted teenagers, of ages from 14-20. Students are hand picked by many 'talent scouts' and work is of a high standard. The main subjects of the school are Art, Literature/English, Drama and Music. Within each of these core subjects are many courses, details of these courses can be found pinned to the noticeboard to the left of each Head Of Department's office. Academically, Atari High is an outstanding school, the students all achieve good grades. However underneath this successful persona is a dark story. The students of this school aren't so normal. A New Chapter Of The Everlasting Story… (The Plot of Mysterious Fantasy)
For as long as anyone can remember, Legend has stated that any time one of the four great nations found itself in peril, a girl would appear. This girl, called forth from another world, would serve as the Miko for that country’s Guardian God. Her task was to gather the seven Seishi, and together with them summon that God and make a wish that would save the country. Over the centuries, many Miko have come and rescued the people from certain destruction. For that reason, the Miko and her Seishi are widely respected, whenever they appear.
After the Miko is successful in summoning her God, and her wish is granted, she is said to return home and her seishi and the People of that country continue to live their lives, passing along her heroic story until it slowly melds with the preexisting legends of Miko past. Legend does not tell the darker side of this story…
The Miko does return home to her own world, but she is unaware of the price she has paid for saving a country and summoning a God. In exchange for granting the wish of the Miko, the God begins to slowly devour the girl until, at last, no trace of her existence remains in her world. No one remembers her, and there is nothing to show there was ever even someone to forget. There is nothing left of her in either world, save for the legends passed down through the ages…
At least, it was thought that there was nothing left of past Miko. Unbeknownst to all, including the Gods themselves, bits and pieces of these poor girls’ existences have remained within the ’Universe of the four Gods’. Alone, there was nothing of any real substance, but over the ages these pieces have drifted, seeking out the others who, like them, are nothing more than fragments of a soul who was tricked into giving everything for nothing.
As their collective presence grew, so did their power and anger toward the Four Gods. Calling themselves the Four Fiends, they were eventually able to meld into four individual entities, each able to mirror the powers of the guardian God that devoured them. Still, their strength was not enough. They needed a physical form in order to physically manifest their powers. Unable to possess Seishi, they each sought out some other suitable human to serve as their vessel. With these new, human forms, they would finally be able to exact their revenge upon the Four Gods who devoured them.
With the world within ’The Universe of the Four Gods’ once again in danger, the Miko were summoned to gather the seishi and save everyone. For the first time, all four Miko have been summoned at once, and are expected to work together for the safety of the world. But the four nations have feuded with one another for as long as anyone can recall, and old grudges often die hard. Can those of the four nations learn to work together, or will they be too busy fighting one another to stop the Four Fiends before it is too late? And what of the Miko that have been summoned? Will they share the same face as their predecessors, or will the tragic cycle finally be broken?
This is an AU, OC-only RP site for Yuu Watase's series 'Fushigi Yuugi'. We are just opening, so tons of characters are still up for grabs, including the Four Gods, The Four Fiends, Priestesses(Miko) and Warriors(Seishi). There are two different worlds, both which co-exist on one earth. A change, so invisible and undetected is happening; those on both sides are noticing it... In the human world, there are frequent murders that are occurring throughout Japan and are known as the “Red Thread phenomenon.” As the police have reported through their investigation, the murders have almost nothing in common besides the red thread tied around the victim’s smallest finger; now the police are beginning to go undercover into the Japanese schools and businesses to see if they can find anything. In addition, there are rumours passing around of being able to kill a person by using this mysterious phone service.
Why are these murders happening, who is committing them? Does this enigmatic phone service have anything do with it? No one seems to know the answer to these questions. Things may have stopped there but they do not. Most humans have not heard of Hoshikuzu Kyu (Stardust Nine), a secret organization of Sentouki who protect the human world by trying to keep the spirit world in order. But even the Sentouki are beginning to notice the numbers of spirits who are crossing over— now they are beginning to ask, why?
There must be some sort of bond between these events that explain what is going on...

Orlando, Florida, used to be a peaceful city. In days past its many attractions would bring in families from across the world to spend their vacation at the many amusement parks, restaurants, and stores the likes of which couldn't be found anywhere else in the world. This time of peace, however, has come to an end.
In the year 2021, the number of murders in the city tripled, and by the year 2025, the city had fallen into the hands of a vampire ran mob who called themselves the Nightlords. When it seemed like the city was lost, a security group called Darkmoon heard the cries of the city and opened their doors in Orlando, offering protection to the city in return for demanding contracts. Businesses quickly started going to the group for help, and soon the city was evenly divided between the Nightlord controlled ones and those protected by Darkmoon.
For a while, the fighting stopped, but suddenly, assassinations started happening all over and the two groups began fighting once again. Everywhere was hit, except for one club called the Crimson Moonlight Lounge, which offered a neutral environment for everyone to come in and enjoy.
Very few knew the truth that not only were the Nightlords vampires, but the Darkmoon group were werewolves, and they were both trying to take the city over, tired of having to live in the shadows for all of their lives forced to hide from humans for fear of being killed. The Darkmoon Security group was of course idolized by the media for trying to stomp out the mob, but the truth was that there was no good or evil in the battle, only two groups fighting for power, with the humans caught in the middle.
Which side will you take? Will you fight with your own kind, turn traitor and fight against your own people, or will you just pretend that nothing is wrong and try to live your life without being killed? Just remember, under the moon, not even your blood can buy you protection.

The Great Journey had been a dangerous time for the four clans of the forest. After loosing their home they were forced to trek across the land and over the mountains, where sadly many lives were lost. The most tragic of these incidents, was when a rockfall separated thirteen cats from the group. They were presumed dead by their clanmates and their losses were mourned. Unknown to the clans however, all of the cats survived. Away from their loved ones they went in the other direction, however they ended up even farther away. Eventually they settled down near the base of another mountain, and StarClan watched helplessly as their population grew. Seasons passed and soon their numbers could rival that of the original clans. They still lived under the warrior code and StarClan. A solution was found when a prophecy was finally sent by StarClan;

It had been fifty years since the end of the Great Catastrophe, an event most attempt to forget yet still remember for fear of living through it once more. Villages that at one time lie in ruins now commenced to prosper once more, the efforts of their previous generations ensuring the next one would grow up in a world of normality would be a success; sort of. Traces of the grand and unfortunate event could still be found if one dares to venture in the more forbidden areas of the world, where shadows of decades ago still retain ownership over the areas. Most of the major villages had been modernized, erasing the stained past with an improved future.
It took a good while, but the leaders of the past had rebuilt each of their respective village with time and patience. Now they stare down upon the fruits of their labor, each Kage of their village sporting wrinkles and scars that told of dark secrets from long ago. Weary eyes would gaze at the seeds they had planted, fresh genin out of the academy eager to aid in their village’s attempt at sovereignty. However, despite the inspiration gained from such a sight, no one would ever forget what happened…
It was as it is now, each and every village at one point enjoying from prosperous times. Conflicts and rivalries had been resisted for many years, and during the interim, many grew strong and wealthy. Now, the fate of the shinobi world and the owners of the battlefields would be determined by a larger pool of contestants, no longer the decision of conquest place on the shoulders of a few. Every village was ready and able, and every one would have their secret array of ‘hidden weaponry’; however, no one would possess a blade sharp enough to pierce the evils that came their way. It was thought to be a world war at first, sudden disasters such as random explosions, earthquakes, humongous sand storms and tsunamis overflowing over each and every village.
Naturally this would instill dissension and mistrust, each neighboring village blaming the other for the disastrous events. Conflict was imminent, and after it’d be proven the ‘attacks’ would not cease, everyone bellowed the call of war. However, the fighting would be cut short, lasting no more than a few weeks as they soon realized the events that ravaged the land were far too grand and dangerous to ignore. Soon a fight for freedom amongst brothers turned into a fight for one’s life against the angry hand of God, and each village was left to fend for themselves in the face of nature. Most would be nearly destroyed, leaving only a few to survive, pass on the tale and start a new tomorrow. It’d be only after they had lost it all that they’d realize it was not their neighbor’s fault for the conflict, but simply some sort of unknown act of Mother Nature herself. Perhaps she grew tired of the eternal rivers of deep crimson blood that were spilt upon her? Natural retribution – it was a scary thing.
Taking what little they had the villages would recover, agreeing amongst each other a lengthy cease of fire and reinforced peace so that life could be preserved. During fifty years, the leaders that were left would commence the slow and tiring process of rebuilding their homes. It’d come with time and patience, and fortunately for those that came ahead, their elders had plenty of it. Now, the results were all around – wealth, happiness, prosperity. Some would suffer so that others wouldn’t. It wasn’t very fair, but it was how balance was retained. Now, on the eve of a very great and vibrant time for the entire shinobi world, a large celebration will be triggered. Across the lands, a mass genin examination will be attempted, an event each village’s leader agreed would solidify peace and instill hope for the future generations. If one possessed skill, one would attempt. This was it.
Enter the shoes of a new generation of leaders. Throughout the land they exist, growing up and gaining discipline through experience. It’s up to you to determine whether your homeland ever returns to how it once was. And it is up to you to uncover the mystery that lead to such misfortune fifty years ago.

The top clique in Greenwood Academy is the Fab Five. What is so special about them? They're all rich, beautiful and have everything they could ever want. So what's the problem?
The seniors of the Fab five is graduating. What's so big about that? They're going to be replaced....by new people that are in different cliques.
Rivalry and fights raise up. Who's going to be chosen to be on the Fab Five? And who is choosing the new kids? Tiffany is. She's going to be the new Queen bee but until then...Katrina Shultz is Queen Bee of the school.
Everyone wants to be just like the Fab Five. Drama, backstabbing and gossip spreads around trying to make each other look bad. At the end, only two girls and two boys could become part of the Fab Five. So who is it going to be?
Which clique are they going to chose from? Who knows, they might chose the lowest clique or even a foreigner. You never know. The Fab Five are unpredictable.
While this is happening, gang fights are raising until one giant fight happens. A huge gang fight will come without anyone knowing and students will be killed.
One student would live and want revenge for it. Now that student is currently planning a shooting at the school. Who will survive? Who will die? Will the student kill them self? Do they know who the student is that is planning the shooting? We shall never know until the shooting begins.

It has been brought to our attention that you are ensnared by the boundaries of this world; a young person with abilities that no one seems to understand. We are sure you are wondering where your abilities come from and why you are the way you are. All of us, too, once wondered why we were different. It is a cause of the changing of the century; a push into the year two thousand five hundred. An epidemic, they call it. An outbreak of 'oddities', those with magickal powers that far outweigh any of those of normal humans. Furthermore, an outbreak of different species that the government has been trying to stifle. Sirens, Demons, Angels, Werewolves, Vampires, Elves; we know of their existence but continue to push them into the background.
Perhaps you have heard of our sister school; a high school that offers the same chance. A high school called; Roseate Spires. If you have gotten their invitation then it has come to our attention that you are about to graduate and we extend this offer to further your education at our school. If you have never heard of Roseate Spires, nor gone to the facility, then this is a first time invitation for you to come join us at our University. Included is information about our school, the offer of a lifetime. A chance to start fresh and take classes to hone in on your magickal powers and learn of your mythological backgrounds. Should you choose to accept, you will be offered a valuable education at no cost to your or your parents, should you still be in contact with them.

Itsuki "Ikki" Minami, is a student and a delinquent. Also known as the "Unbeatable Babyface.”
Ikki is the leader of the youth gang by the name of "East Side Gunz". He thought he was tough, but when confronted by the leading storm rider of the Skull Saders, he is left disgraced and angry. When arriving at home that day, Ikki discovers a secret hidden from him by his benefactors, the Noyamano sisters. The four sisters, Ringo, Mikan, Ume and Rikan Noyamano belong to a group of Storm Riders who go by the team name of Sleeping Forest.
The sisters give him a pair of ATs and invite him to skate with them. Ikki eventually settles his grudge with the Skull Saders, but in the process he receives more than the simple satisfaction of revenge. Determined to experience the sensation of "flight" for as long as he can, Ikki is quickly engaged in the mysterious, irresistible world of Air treks. okie, i know what you mean. i deleted the last row of stats on the boards because it looks a little neater. i've left last 50 posts but i know how you feel. the board's growing and sometimes 50 just isn't enough!

In 2008 scientist Dr. Robert E. Adams discovered the cure for heartworm. It was delivered in the form of a gas mask over the cat or dog for only a minute at a time. The gas would kill the heartworms at any stage of the development with only a side effect of a little bit of a runny nose. The best part was that it was so cheap that it could be offered as low as five dollars a treatment. Millions of pet owners around the world lined up for hours to save their animals, and in no time heartworms was just a thing of the past. To help prevent the outbreak of the killer worm again the US government hired teams of people who would go up and down streets spraying the gas. This way strays wouldn’t spread the worm onto other animals. It was perfect, maybe too perfect.
In 2010 a normally tame dog in a household suddenly started to viciously attack his owners. An elderly woman eventually died from the attack, and the dog had to be shot just to prevent any more harm. It was a puzzling case as no evidence of rabies was found in the male dog. However, what the vet did find was an odd type of brain cell in the dog. It was attacking other cells around it, and it was triggering massive overdoses of adrenaline. A few days later three other dogs, in the same area, did the exact same thing. This time a young child was killed. The odd thing was that his body was eaten completely; even some of the bones were gone. The two other dogs were found with the same type of odd cell in their brains.
Two weeks later chaos erupted. Dogs in every city and in every state were attacking anything they could get their mouths on. Some said that they acted almost like they were rabid. Experts on rabies gathered a few of the infected dogs and came to a terrifying conclusion. Since the odd brain cell was producing so much adrenaline the canines were in a constant state of ‘super’ strength. Although, this came with a terrible cost so the dogs were always in search of food. The treatment for heartworms that was found two years prior had been slowly mutating until it finally took a hold of the dog. The total death count for humans throughout the entire world was reaching the hundred thousand. Military teams were called in from the government to eliminate any dogs in sight.
One organization started to offer to pick up dogs that had never come in contact with the medication. Often it was in third world countries, or in small towns where the medication never got that far out. A small scan would be done on the dog before it was picked up and shipped off to a town located on the southern boundaries of Canada. This town was named Nexo, the mouth of death, and it once was a booming city full of people. Now it sits and it’s the last place for dogs to live a semi-normal life again.

In the "Forum Statistics" in the bottom of the main page is a "50 last posts" link, i'm aware that's not QUITE what you wanted, but it's atleast a guideline and a little of an help maybe.

It's making it hard for me to see if there are any new posts in the boards that I post in... T_T And, I've never really liked subscribing to threads, so I have no idea which boards have new posts... >.>
