1. This site is public, and therefore, try to keep it clean. If you are having any of the following in a post, please put a warning in the title. Sex, drugs, alcohol, excessive swearing, smoking, violence or fighting.

2. Try and use good grammar and spelling. Word and programs as such have spell checkers and if you don't have one, dictionary.com is a perfect site to look up the word you want to use. Grammar is also important, as without it, no one's going to be able to tell what you're talking about! Punctuation is the main problem I find. Use periods (.) , commas (,) , quotations ("), and things like that. Trust me, people will want to RP with you more!

3. Try to keep away from constant one-liners... That drives people away because there's never really much to respond to. Everyone has the occasional one-liner. It happens to the best of us! But it doesn't need to be constant. That just gets extremely annoying and makes some people mad as well.

4. Killing - Killing just ruins everyone's fun because if you kill their character, how are they supposed to RP? Killing may be accepted with permission from an admin and the victim, no exceptions, your account may be suspended or deleted if you do so.

5. When you have submitted your application, please change your Display Name (you can change this by clicking Profile at the top of the board, then modify profile). Change it to the name of your character and also add in an avatar. If you don't have an avatar, photobucket and the internet are a good source.

6. Do not, I repeat, do NOT harass any of the admins or moderators! Harassing us just means you're one step closer to being banned from the site. It's not something we'll put up with. Everything we do has a reason and purpose behind it meaning that there should be no questioning going on. End of discussion.

7. If you would like to be a Moderator of a Board, apply in the 'Apply to be a Moderator' Thread inside of it. If there isn't one there, it's because the position isn't up for grabs! Don't PM us about it, we won't be happy!

9. Most of all, just have fun! There may be rules but that doesn't mean you can't have fun! We're meant to be on here to have fun and that's what we'll do. These rules aren't to make you mad or anything, they're just to create some order on the site. Don't think of these as a blockade. That's not what they're meant for. Just go out there and have a good time!

11. Also, please be sure not to take anyone's graphics without permission!(Or claim them as your own) People spend a long time on their specialty graphics and to find that someone has stolen them and used them for themselves is a criminal affence, yes it IS illegal. It's happened to people before and I don't like to see it. Graphics take a long time to make and should not be treated as if they were made in seconds. Respect others! If you are caught stealing graphics I will black list your IP and inform all admins of sister sites and any others that are appropriate!

12. Another message about signatures, make sure yours aren't too long or big. Any signature that stretches the board (meaning it's too wide) will be deleted without warning. Try to keep the length short. You don't need a million signatures. Make links to different ones and keep maybe one or two up. That makes it a lot easier for those of us who are RPing with you. We don't have to scroll forever to get to the next post. Long signatures will also be deleted without warning. An ideal signature is 350 (width) by about 200 (height). And avatars can go up to 120 (width) by 150 (height)

13. If you plan on joining, make sure to be active as much as you can. We don't want you to join JUST because you need to promote your site or your doing it because your friend wanted you to, etc. Join because you want to join and you want to RP. Those kind of members are the kind that are most respected.

15. Once you have read through all of this you are ready to submit an application. If you have any ideas, queries or suggestions, don't hesitate to PM me, I may be admin, but I'm not scary! I promise!

All my admins, moderators and other members of staff are chosen because they are kind and responsible.

16. The only available subjects at Atari High are; Art, Drama, English and Music. so please don't ask for any others in your application.
